Temporary, Full-Time (End date of January 31, 2025)


Compensation:
The hourly rate of pay is $31.60 per hour based on a 35 hour work week


Number of Positions: 1


Work Location:
Hybrid (a combination of in-office and remote work)

Responsibilities:

As recorded in the Collective Agreement with MoveUP Together (COPE Local 378), the responsibilities of the role will include the following:

  • Performing routine word processing, with the aid of existing templates, routine reports, correspondence, memoranda and standard office forms
  • Creating, processes and maintains a variety of files, records, spreadsheet and related materials following BCCNM policies and procedures
  • Performing various office functions such as sorting, filing, and retrieving files, and documents, photocopying and assembling documents, and creating various forms
  • Performing other clerical and dataprocessing functions

Education and Qualifications:


  • Have a secondary school diploma
  • Ability to type at least 50 wpm
  • Ability to exercise some degree of independence of judgment and action
  • Ability to organize own work and establish priorities without continuous supervision
  • Ability to follow procedures, practices and directions as related to the duties of the job
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize own work without continuous supervision
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work and interact cooperatively and collaboratively with others in the team and the public
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion of information received while performing regular work functions
