Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Manage and maintain all devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers.
  • Troubleshoot network issues, including connectivity, speed, and security.
  • Monitor and maintain our servers on the cloud in Azure platform.
  • Provide technical support to staff and students, including answering questions and resolving problems.
Conduct regular backups of important data and ensure disaster recovery procedures are in place. Keep up-to-date with new technologies and make recommendations for improvements to our IT infrastructure. Assist with IT projects as needed


Qualifications:


  • Diploma or degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
  • Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A+ or other relevant IT certifications are a plus

Education:


  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Network Administration is an asset.
