Description

Purpose:

Reporting to the Manager, Graduate Communications & Recruitment for the Office of the Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies, the Social Media & Engagement Assistant will support the development and execution of social media campaigns.

The successful incumbent will also support the creation of multimedia content such as photos, videos.

The Social Media & Engagement Assistant will support the planning of social initiatives and marketing events as well as prepare a variety of communication materials.

Education:

3rd or 4th year undergraduate student

Preferred Programs of Study:
Communication & Social Studies, Cinema & Media Studies, Design, Digital Media, Film Production, Visual Art.

Experience:

revious communications experience required including experience with content generation on social & digital media platforms. Experience with social media management tools i.e., Sprout Social is an asset. Familiarity with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
