KEY Responsibilities

Program Coordination/Team Leadership
Oversees hiring, training, engagement and wellness for the team of Youth Facilitators; building an effective team of leaders to develop and deliver programs

Becomes a community advocate; is involved in relevant stakeholder group committees

Builds or strengthen relationships at all levels of School Boards as required

Supports all committee work and program development and delivery


Qualifications

Education & Training

• College or university education in social services, wellness or other related field or related experience

Experience
Minimum five (5) years' experience in a supervisory role of a staff team

Superior knowledge of, and experience working with, any of the following populations: youth facing barriers, BIPOC, 2SLGBTQ+ populations, and youth with challenges related to neurodivergence, mental health and addictions, and trauma

Project management experience preferred

• Indepth knowledge of youth mental health and equityrelated issues
• Strong leadership and management skills including the ability to motivate, delegate, coach/mentor, and empower team members

• Skilled at being open, comfortable, nonjudgmental, and nonstigmatizing
• Strong personal ethics, integrity and alignment with our inclusivity practices of all equitydeserving communities related to race, culture, neurodivergence, and 2SLGBTQIA+
• Ability to work independently; taking initiative, making decisions, and organizing time and workload effectively
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication with all levels of staff, clients and the public
• Proficient with computers using MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), and other software programs needed to produce documents, reports, databases, presentations and communication vehicles for staff training and development.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and healthy boundaries

Must have a valid driver's license, access to a vehicle and insurance at $2,000,000 liability

Must have a private home office space for virtual office hours

Knowledge of child development and experience working in a school environment a strong asset


Pay:
$60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
