We are a local, fun, dedicated team of insurance broker professionals and we are looking to hire a part-time/full-time
Accounting Technician_

Responsibilities would include:


  • Monthly reports as required
  • Reconciling direct bill statements
  • Reconciling agency bill statements
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Accounts Receivables
  • Financial reports as requested
  • Assist accounting staff when required
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications:


  • Entry level position with 13 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a face paced environment
  • Great interpersonal & communication skills
  • A positive and energetic attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to Reconcile accounts
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of accounting / customer management systems
  • Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner
  • Possess strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of insurance, and Broker Management systems (Power Broker) is considered an asset

Job Type:
Part-time


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

- accounting: 1 year (preferred)

- insurance: 1 year (preferred)
