The role includes all facets of day-to-day leadership, management, and operations of a full-service residential real estate sales brokerage. This position is responsible for achieving the annual goals of the brokerage business plan.
The Branch Manager directly influences:
- Gross commission income
- Operating efficiency of branch
- Recruiting, retention, and productivity of Sales Representatives
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Optimizes profitability of the Branch through the recruitment and retention of a stable and productive agent sales force, supported by excellent branch staff.

Reports to:
Broker of Record/General Manager
Supervises:
Sales Representatives and Support Staff
Co-operates with: The Management Team, alliances, partnerships, agents, and other individuals across the organization by sharing ideas and resources.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
The ideal applicant should possess:
- Must be a licensed REALTOR, preferably with an Ontario Broker's license with a minimum of two years of experience in real estate sales.
- Strong, proven Leadership/Management Skills
- The ability to recruit, develop, and lead a dynamic team of real estate professionals at the industry's highest level.
- Entrepreneurship
- The ability to achieve business plan goals and targets as planned by the company for the growth and development of our agents and our company.
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Computer Literacy
- A strong desire to work in the development and operations of a full service Royal LePage brokerage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Actively recruits both new and experienced real estate agents at a level that is sufficient to meet and/or exceed recruiting targets.
- Retains, and mentors Sales Representatives and support staff.
- Trains and develops real estate agents on goal setting, prospecting, client presentations, negotiating and closing skills.
- Plans for succession of sales representatives and branch support staff.
- Evaluates the performance of Sales Representatives and staff and takes appropriate action, including termination within Company Policies.
- Promotes the Company and develops business.
- Ensures delivery of a quality service level to the public.
- Makes certain that all practices are in accordance with Company Policies and Procedures, Code of Ethics and/or Code of Business Conduct.
- Uses the knowledge and skill sets required for sales transaction management and all facets of residential real estate operations including contracts, compliance, and deal processing.
- To understand brokerage administrative functions inclusive of all front and backoffice operations consistent with brokerage policies and procedures.
- Resolves complaints from the public and acts as arbitrator between Sales Representatives.
- To develop leadership, presentation, conflict resolution, and creative problemsolving skills required for highly effective sales leadership.
Salary:
$100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
