In your role you will:

Lead and grow a team responsible for endtoend data integration and analytic solutions, from architecture to build and operational support. The team includes data architect, data engineer, data scientist, ML Engineer, and BI/reporting Developer.
Lead your team to architect, build and maintain ELT/ELT pipelines, data flows, legacy DWH (MSSQL, Oracle), cloud data platform (lakehouse), AI/ML solution, reporting and dashboards.
Be accountable for technology selection, deployment, maintenance, and management related to ETL/ELT, data lake, data warehouse (DWH), BI/reporting and ML/AI tools.
Ensure data assets and related analytics solutions are managed with leading processes to be highly dependable and to support lines of business with agility.
Coordinate activities and set priorities to meet project deadlines. Be capable of operating in both waterfall and/or agile delivery mode.
Be responsible to contract external support, when needed, to meet project timelines.
Establish operational support model for the data solutions with a mix of internal and external staffing (outsourcing) to deliver on agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA);
Support the definition of the enterprise data strategy and its implementation.
Prepare the budget and manage expenses for your team.
Set team and individual objectives (including development plan), monitor progress and conduct performance review for your employees.
Work closely with the Security team and the Data Privacy Officer to protect the enterprise data asset and maintain compliance to evolving regulation.
Implement a culture of analytics for harvesting the value of data, in close collaboration with all lines of businesses.
Identify and develop skills within your team. Promote an innovation mindset by staying informed of the latest development in data integration and analytics.

Qualifications

You have a university degree in the field of computer science, information technology, engineering or quantitative analysis programs;
You have a minimum of 10 years' experience in delivering and managing data solutions (as a data engineer, database administrator and/or data solution architect);
You have at least 3 years' experience in a team management role.
You have good Software Engineering knowledge and how to incorporate Agile and DevOps practices to create business value.
You have experience of Microsoft data solutions (SQL server, Azure datalake, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, PowerBI).
You have been involved in delivering advanced analytic projects (ML, AI).
You are recognized for your leadership, vision, and autonomy.
You have experience with modern data solution implementation (cloud, lakehouse).
Experience in the aerospace industry would be an asset.
You have strong communication skills in French and English. You can perform using both languages in a business context.
You are driven by a desire to innovate, develop others and use data to create business value.
