About the Role:
We are currently seeking a motivated Driver to join our expanding team.

Responsibilities:

1.

Material Transport:
Safely and efficiently transport construction materials, equipment, tools, and supplies to various construction sites.

2.

Loading and Unloading:
Load and unload materials, ensuring they are securely strapped and properly positioned for safe transport. Assist with moving and positioning materials at the construction site if needed.

3.

Vehicle Maintenance:
Perform routine vehicle inspections, maintenance, and cleanliness checks. Report any issues with the vehicle to the appropriate personnel and ensure necessary repairs or maintenance are addressed.

4.

Route Planning:

Plan the most efficient routes to and from construction sites to ensure timely delivery of materials, considering traffic conditions and potential roadblocks.

5.

Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs, receipts, and any issues that may arise during transportation.

6.

Communication:

Coordinate with the construction site foreman or relevant personnel to ensure the right materials are delivered at the correct locations and assist in the coordination of delivery schedules.

7.

Compliance:
Adhere to safety regulations, traffic laws, and any site-specific requirements while on construction sites.

Qualifications:

1.

Valid Driver's License:
Possession of a valid G licence (Having an AZ licence is an asset)

2.

Experience:

Previous experience as a delivery driver, especially in the construction or transportation industry, is beneficial.

3.

Physical Fitness:
Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading.

4.

Knowledge of Construction Materials:
Familiarity with construction materials, their handling, and loading procedures.

5.

Safety Awareness:
A strong commitment to safety and knowledge of safety protocols related to handling materials and driving.

6.

Good Communication Skills:
Clear communication with site supervisors, contractors, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.

7.

Reliability and Punctuality:
Dependability and a strong sense of punctuality to ensure on-time deliveries.

Salary:
$18.00-$25.00 per hour
