Levi's is looking for an Alterations Specialist to represent the iconic Levi's Brand.

Full-time 37.5 hours per week.

Set schedule for a work-life balance.

Competitive Hourly Rate (plus benefits).

The goal is to drive sales and brand loyalty through creative alteration and customization at the Levi's Custom Tailor Shop Downtown Toronto.

The Custom Tailor Shop is located inside
Hudson's Bay Toronto Downtown Queen Street.

Role Responsibilities

Perform alteration services such as hemming, patch and repair, tapering, and of course customization of Levi's denim products, etc.
Create oneofakind garments using embroidery, têxtile paint and any other medium that inspires you and the customer.
Provide sound advice on the product, calculating lead times to ensure the customer's expectations are accurately managed.
Strong knowledge of garment fitting, fabrics, styling, manufacturing techniques, and garment construction.
Customercentric approach, understanding and showing enthusiasm for the product and brand.
Cultivate customer relationships to create loyalty and foster brand ambassadors.
Educate and train store teams and customers on services and offerings instore.

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year experience as an Alterations Specialist, Tailor, Seamstress, or similar experience.
Passion for the Levi's brand.
Must be able to draw and paint.
Formal training in apparel design preferred.
Knowledge about the denim industry and current trends.
Knowledge of têxtiles and fabrics.
Proven skills in sewing, design, tailoring and têxtile customizations.
Detail and designoriented mindset.
Strong communication skills.
