Reporting to the Senior Manager, Strategic Change Management within the Customer Experience and Workforce Effectiveness team this role involves leading Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities for major strategic projects within the bank's Personal and Business Banking segments.
The primary focus will be to lead cross-functional change management work streams supporting BMO's Personal and Business Banking strategic priorities.
- Execute on various change management related activities, leverage BMO's OCM framework
- e.g. assess change impacts, manage stakeholder engagement, develop change strategies and plans, assess business readiness and ensure realization of people-dependent project benefits
- Direct an effective change strategy with project stakeholders across the organization
- Raise any risks or issues and provide recommendations for resolution
- Develop solutions to challenges that arise, collaborating with appropriate stakeholders, and implementing action plans
- Extensive experience with Organizational Change Management in large organizations (5+ years)
- Experience working on large, crossfunctional projects with large project teams and multiple stakeholder groups
- Experience working with PROSCI's ADKAR change framework would be an asset
- Develop change management plans and roadmaps including elements such as: stakeholder analysis, impact assessments, strategic communications, learning strategies and sustainability plans
- Develop and implement change materials to ensure programs are successfully implemented
- Ability to effectively present strategic change recommendations/updates to project sponsors and senior leaders for ongoing feedback
- Frontline experience and/or corporate office experience is a must
- Indepth knowledge of the Business and/or Commercial Bank is preferred
- Strong business management acumen
- A university degree/college diploma
- Demonstrates excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Displays flexibility, resilience, creativity and resourcefulness in addressing project issues
- Genuine willingness to accept and act on feedback
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problemsolving and criticalthinking skills
- Expert knowledge and expertise with office productivity software e.g. MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel
