L'équipe à laquelle vous vous joindrez fait partie de State Street Global Services (SSGS). SSGS donne aux propriétaires et aux gestionnaires d'actifs l'accès aux outils financiers essentiels dont ils ont besoin pour offrir des solutions de placement efficaces.

L'évaluation des valeurs mobilières est une unité centralisée qui soutient plusieurs unités d'affaires et qui est divisée en deux domaines distincts : la tarification au niveau du fonds et la tarification des actifs. En tant que spécialiste de la tarification, vous êtes responsable de l'administration de l'exécution des évaluations quotidiennes du marché pour divers clients conformément à l'entente d'autorisation de la source de prix (Price Source Authorization, PSA) de chaque client, aux instructions permanentes et aux meilleures pratiques du marché. L'exactitude, la rapidité, l'organisation et la tenue à jour de la documentation sont importantes pour ce poste.

Dans ce poste à temps partiel, vous travaillerez 20 heures par semaine de 14 h à 18 h ou de 10 h à 14 h.

Ce dont vous serez responsable

• Préparer et livrer des rapports d'évaluation aux clients internes et externes ou à leurs agents en temps opportun.
• Respecter et promouvoir les procédures du département en ce qui concerne l'examen et l'approbation des valeurs du marché du portefeuille, et former les autres à leur utilisation.
• Assurer la réception quotidienne de tous les flux de tarification, des soumissions des courtiers, des sources de tarification de secours et d'autres données pertinentes. Identifier, rechercher et résoudre les prix en éliminant les niveaux de tolérance établis.
• Identifier, communiquer et résoudre les situations de juste valeur. Signaler les problèmes aux hauts membres de l'équipe ou aux clients, au besoin.
• Effectuer les tâches de tarification globale dans un environnement opérationnel continu.
• Avoir un esprit d'équipe. Travailler avec vos pairs pour atteindre les objectifs du groupe, du client et de l'unité.
• Élargir et améliorer continuellement ses connaissances sur les instruments financiers, les actions des sociétés et les meilleures pratiques en matière d'évaluation.
• Maintenir la documentation et les sauvegardes appropriées aux fins de vérification.
• Participer et contribuer aux initiatives de projets de l'unité.
• Offrir un service à la clientèle exceptionnel aux clients internes et externes.

Formation et qualifications privilégiées

• Baccalauréat en commerce, en administration ou en économie.
• La connaissance des marchés financiers et des titres complexes est un atout.
• Démontrer la capacité d'analyser un problème, d'obtenir et d'évaluer l'information, et de tirer des conclusions solides.
• Capacité de travailler en équipe.
• Excellentes aptitudes pour la communication et les relations interpersonnelles.
• Maîtrise des applications de feuilles de calculs et de base de données comme EXCEL et ACCESS.
• Compétences avancées en administration, organisation et gestion du temps.
• L'anglais est une nécessité, le français est un atout.

Securities Valuations Internship (Part- time)

Why this role is important to us

The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Global Services (SSGS). SSGS gives asset owners and managers access to the essential financial tools they need to deliver effective investment solutions.

Securities Valuation is a centralized unit supporting several business units and is broken out into two distinct areas; Fund Level Pricing and Asset Pricing. As Security Valuations Inter you are responsible for administering the execution of daily market valuations for various clients in accordance with each client's Price Source Authorization ("PSA") agreement, standing instructions, and market best practices. Accuracy, timeliness, organization and maintenance of documentation are important to this position.

In this part-time position you will be working 20 hours a week from 14h to 18h or from 10h to 14h.

What you will be responsible for

• Preparation and delivery of valuation reports to internal and external clients and/or their agents in a timely manner.
• Adhere to, promote, and educate others on the use of department procedures with respect to the review and approval of portfolio market values.
• Ensure the receipt of all pricing feeds, broker quotes, back-up pricing sources and other relevant data on a daily basis. Identify, research, and resolve prices breaking set tolerance levels.
• Identify, communicate, and resolve fair value situations. Escalate issues to senior members of the team and/or clients as required.
• Perform global pricing tasks in a continuous operations environment.
• Function as a "team-player". Work with peers to achieve group/client/unit goals.
• Continuously expand and improve knowledge of financial instruments, corporate actions, and best valuation practices.
• Maintain proper documentation and back-up for audit purposes.
• Participate in and contribute to unit project initiatives.
• Provide outstanding client service to both internal and external clients.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Pursing a Bachelor degree in Commerce, Administration or Economics.
• Knowledge of capital markets and complex securities is an asset.
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze a problem, obtain and evaluate information and reach sound conclusions.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work as a team player.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Spreadsheet and database applications such as EXCEL and ACCESS
• Solid administration, organizational and time management skills.
• English is a must, French is an asset.
