- Conduct preventive maintenance on all tools and dies, maintaining detailed logs of the performed maintenance, including entries into SAP.
- Address any necessary repairs or replacements for tools/dies.
- Engage in welding (laser welding) and manual finishing of die steels, as well as the spotting of molds/mold parts.
- Troubleshoot 3D steel dies/molds and perform general maintenance tasks as required.
- Offer support to machine maintenance, collaborating with machine/tooling interfaces.
- Aid machine operators in autonomous maintenance procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all EKCA, IATF/ISO policies, and procedures.
- Adhere to Environmental Health and Safety policies and statutory regulations.
- Possess experience with 3D dies in the molding process.
- Familiarity with hydraulic presses and automated coil feed lines.
- Hold certification as a tool/mold maker.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Understanding of the hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics of equipment, along with proficiency in GD&T.
