We are looking for someone to manage our overnight shift long-term.
To begin the role will have a daytime shift for training and eventually transition to the full-time role of Overnight attendant.
Responsibilities:
Overnight Services
- Inbound calls from customers
- Coordinating with 3rd party companies for pick ups and deliveries
- Security of the premises
- Vehicle maintenance
- Office organization
- Greet visitors, answer questions, and provide funeral services information
- May assist with lifting casket at funeral services or cemetary
- Transportation of families to and from funeral services
- Following services, removal, cleaning, and proper storage of company property
- Transport, pick up, and deliver documents, family mementos, and similar articles safely to destination that may include family's residence, care center, funeral home, or business operations
- May transport the deceased to funeral home
- Wash, vacuum, and clean vehicles to ensure vehicle is presentable
- Fuel vehicles as necessary; following safety guidelines

Role Requirements
Certification/License
- Valid Quebec issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- English and French language proficiency
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with others
- Ability to work with kindness and compassion for the deceased and their families
- Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work with colleagues to accomplish tasks
- Ability to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to be able to do heavy lifting
- Work indoors and outdoors during all seasons and weather conditions, outerwear provided
- Professional Dress is provided by employer and required when in contact with families
- Drive company owned vehicles, with and without passengers
- This role will begin with a daytime shift of 128 and eventually transition to an overnight shift.

Salary:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour
