Samsung and OSL have partnered to operate and manage the Samsung Experience Stores across Canada. We're looking for a
Training Manager join our team in support of our vision to take this high touch and experiential retail channel to the next level.

About the Role:

To be successful you must be experienced and passionate about training, innovation, and customer experience strategy.


A little more about the role:

  • Create, implement, and manage training curriculum for the in-store retail team and end customers
  • Oversee and manage S+ online learning tools for Samsung Experience Store employees
  • Support Talent Management initiatives (development planning, management/leadership training, individual development)
  • Manage instructional design efforts (oversee development, finalize, produce materials)
  • Design, develop and implement learning and development programs for all employees and customers
  • Provide organization and direction for training plans and programs (including communication vehicles and supporting materials for organizational training curriculum design and delivery
  • Assist in and develop objectives, course content, and learning activities using best practices in adult learning strategies
  • Develop and adapt instructional materials to varying audiences and formats
  • Produce written and/or eLearning based instructional materials
  • Develop and administer training skills assessments and course evaluations as required
  • Facilitate live and online training when necessary to support the goals of the SES Direct to Consumer (DTC) team
  • Facilitate and support ad hoc requests as required

Who we're looking for:


  • 7+ years in fastpaced retail, hospitality or learning environment
  • 5+ years at a management level
  • Demonstrated experience in field level training and facilitation
  • Experience in Instructional Design and advanced presentation and learning elements
  • Strong leader and communicator with an unwavering devotion to create an outstanding customer experience
  • Proven business acumen, team building, and project management skills
  • Inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • Ability to present in front of large groups in both seminar style sessions and handson training
  • Relationship management: You quickly develop and foster trusting, healthy relationships with Partners and Team Members
