POSITION OVERVIEW
The Install and Service Supervisor will be report directly to the Installation and Service Manager. The Install and Service Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of employees and subcontractors in the field to ensure successful and profitable management of the Connectivity Solutions service delivery team. As a leader within the team, the Supervisor will use Telecon's SMART values to meet the company objectives by providing all necessary support to team operations while ensuring the company's vision and guiding principles are adhered to.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the achievement of quality objectives and metrics based on compliance and standards
- Manage and coordinate all escalations; including but not limited to customer service escalations, damage claims, etc.
- Manage employee and subcontractor performance according to set objectives, in conjunction with organizational process; lead progressive disciplinary actions
- Act as a change agent; coordinate effective implementation of new organizational activities and standards related to project management and governance, quality and health and safety management
- Supports the team professionally with ongoing coaching; identifying training needs, performance management, and employee relations
- Prepare various reports; analyze monthly performance results to meet necessary objectives and improve work methods and processes including updates to the Installation and Service Manager(s) as needed
- Communicate with technicians, dispatch and client to ensure daily workloads are completed on time and to specifications
- Ensure adherence to administrative requirements within contracts, by all subcontractors including health & safety standards; ensure all services are executed in compliance with the customer contract and in accordance with industry and Telecon standards
- Other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 5 years' telecommunications experience in the field
- Communications Technician Journeyman or equivalent experience considered an asset
- Training in Construction Site Health & Safety
- Exceptional Customer Service focused, both internally and externally
- Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills to build strong relationships, and network effectively with all levels of the organization and with external clients and partners
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS**:
- Must have a valid Class 5 Drivers' License
- Must be willing to travel locally and in around Winnipeg as needed.
- Flexibility to work on weekends and varying shifts dependent on business needs
- Able to lift, manipulate and carry up to 75lbs when needed
- Able to climb up to 20 ft
