    Salary: $25.00+ per hour

    We are currently recruiting for a Machinist here in the Brantford area. Our client is looking for someone who has familiarity with CNC Machines along with Programming.

    As a Machinist, you will play a crucial role in the production process by operating various machine tools to create precision parts. Your mechanical knowledge, ability to read blueprints, and proficiency in using power tools will be essential for ensuring accurate and high-quality output.

    Shift: Day Shift - Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

    Wage: $25.00+ depending on experience

  • Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
  • Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality
  • Troubleshoot issues with machines and make necessary adjustments Skills:
  • Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine operations
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation
  • Experience with power tools, milling machines, and other machining equipment
  • Strong mathematical skills for performing basic calculations
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers to ensure precision in machining
  • Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
  • Familiarity with CNC machines and programming is highly desirable
  • Your skills in basic math, caliper usage, welding, CNC programming, and troubleshooting will contribute to your success in this role.
