- Organize and conduct meetings to support the category merchandising line review process, identifying space optimization opportunities and ways to enhance in-store customer experience.
- Manage planogram builds for line reviews, ensuring accuracy and quality before finalization.
- Suggest space recommendation changes to proto floorplans when necessary.
- Demonstrate knowledge of category merchandising strategies, conducting research and leveraging insights for optimal Planograms.
- Ensure store testing and category management support areas are efficient and effective.
- Create clear store execution communications and prepare materials for meetings.
- Collaborate with stores to address inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising, retail, marketing, or advertising.
- Strong team player with excellent communication and multitasking skills.
- Self-motivated with solid problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite and knowledge of space management software.
- Familiarity with Canadian Tire's merchandising practices is an advantage.
