We are a Boutique Pilates studio in North York and we are seeking an experienced and passionate Pilates instructor to join our team.
As a Pilates Instructor, you will lead private and small group classes for our clients in a welcoming, caring and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct small group and private Pilates sessions utilizing our Balance Body Reformers
- Develop individualized Pilates programs for clients based on their needs, goals and fitness level
- Provide handson corrections and adjustments to ensure proper form and technique
- Communicate with clients to provide feedback, track progress, and offer support and encouragement
- Maintain a clean and organized studio environment
- Participate in studio events, promotions and marketing activities to attract new clients
Requirements:
- Certification in Mat, Reformer and all other apparatus is a MUST and should be from a reputable organization.
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching Reformer Pilates
- Strong understanding of anatomy and movement mechanics
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with clients
- Professional, friendly, and caring demeanor
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Salary:
$35.00-$60.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North York, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- reformer training: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- Certification in Mat, Reformer and all other apparatus (required)
