Finance Manager - PA, SAFETY US & CANADA QUALITY


The Finance Manager is responsible for managing all FP&A aspects for three North America (NA) business units under Assuris global business line (GBL).

This individual will partner and plan with leaders of all business areas to drive sensible decisions through actionable insights and analysis.

This is a highly influential role across the GBL and requires someone with a true passion for cross functional partnerships, understanding of the firm's core services and appreciation of firm's visions.

The position will report directly to Sr. Director, Finance & Strategic Planning.


The role will have the opportunity to not only influence the forward-looking vision of the business, but also help growth the business through advanced financial modelling and development of business cases for strategic growth opportunities.


_Key Responsibilities __:
_

  • Lead the strategic aspects of the annual budget and weekly forecast processes, coordinating those respective processes and preparing analysis and reporting decks
  • Perform strategic and financial analysis to inform and validate all major decisions for the business, including performance and investment allocation across lines of business and geographies, cost structure, pricing strategy, margin targets, unit economics, marketing spend efficiency and headcount growth
  • Assist the GBL Finance head on special projects, such as CAPEX decisions and business case ROI analysis, etc., including communicating key financial metrics to Executive Committee
  • Collaborate with the business to define/analyze financial performance and operational KPI's in addition to identifying risks and opportunities based on data driven insights
  • Provide support to ensure that the accounts receivable and payable functions and procedures are current, to maximize cash flow and revenue for the organization.
  • Assist in the preparation and completion of the monthly financial statements.
  • Complete all required weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting in conjunction with the Controller

_Requirements __:
_**- University Education CPA designation or equivalent is a must

  • Working knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.
  • 5+ years' experience in Finance, min 3+ years in Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Prior experience in service/consultancy industry considered an asset
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with superior attention to details; Advanced MS Excel/PowerPoint skills and ability to impose structure and logic
  • Great interpersonal skills and willingness to work in collaboration with various team members
  • Effective writing and presentation skills; abilities to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Confidence to embrace new ways of doing things more effectively and more efficiently, with a mentality of driving continuous process improvement
  • Acts without being told what to do: proactively brings forward new ideas
  • Prior experience with Deltek Cost Point a strong asset.
