Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution; Ontario College of Teachers certification or equivalent degree with I/S qualifications in Physical Education; Minimum three years' teaching experience preferred; Current National Lifeguard Service certification is required Standard First Aid & CPR 'C" (issued from Lifesaving Society, Red Cross or St John's Ambulance), and AED certifications, strongly preferred; Experience in and knowledge of IB is a strong asset; Strong curriculum development skills and assessment practices that incorporate strategies relevant to the age and stage assessment practices; A relational educator who incorporates Social-Emotional Learning and emotional coaching strategies in their practice; Experience and/or commitment to incorporating DEI principles into curriculum development and teaching practice; Knowledge of relevant technology and able to work in a laptop and online environment; Adept at leveraging technology to deliver education program and correspond with students, parents, colleagues and the community at large; Belief in and alignment to Branksome Hall's mission, vision and values:

Passionate about teaching and being in service of students and the community; Ability to work both independently with little direct supervision as well as be a collaborative team member.
