Description

Communications and Sales Associate provides exceptional service and passion for our new brand in Canada. They will work closely with the Managing Partner and focus on delivering an excellent customer service experience. Communications and Sales Associate supports the sales process, customer relations and brand development.


Responsibilities
Sales in the showroom

• Maintain updated knowledge of floor inventory, including furniture details and customization options
• Initiate pleasant interactions with customers as they come in the showroom
• Present and showcase product features and different transformations of models
• Assist customers in finding furniture and fabrics that best suit their needs, budget and taste
• Process inperson sales transactions and receive payments
• May also be required to negotiate prices within parameters set by the Managing Partner

Communications

• Ensure that customers are fully satisfied with the services offered
• Manage client relationships through all the stages of the sales cycle
• Maintain updated company's website knowledge on different product offerings, fabrics, promotions, transformation, company history, make/composition of products, etc.

Office work

• Perform various administrative duties, such as preparing daily report, conducting postsale followups with the customers, maintaining client data base
• Prepare and mail out 'Free Fabric Samples' envelopes
• Work together with Owner on maintaining inventory count

Required Skills:

• Friendly and strong commitment to customer service
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Empathy to understand customer's needs
• Critical and analytical thinking to provide logical answers to customer's questions
• Ability to lift light furniture elements to demonstrate transformations
• Understanding of basic math and measurements
• For PT roles: Availability to be scheduled 16+ hours per week, with a minimum of 7 hours on Saturday and Sunday

Job Types:
Part-time, Casual

Part-time hours: 16-25 per week


Salary:
From $19.00 per hour

• French not required

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Every Weekend

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Etobicoke, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

- public relations: 2 years (preferred)
