Research Clerk **with our Radiation Medicine Program (RMP).

The individual will be responsible for conducting a range of activities, including, but not limited to:

  • Assist with the compilation of physician non-clinical activity reports
  • Assist with evaluation of staff performances using common KPI matrices
  • Assist the RMP Director of Research and Research Program Development Manager in the overall coordination of various scientific and research pursuits
  • Facilitate the production of complex documents and materials, including progress reports
  • Develop, organize and maintain electronic systems for research metrics
  • Plan and coordinate research meetings and events
  • Regular attendance at research program team meetings and participation in group planning of new program initiatives
  • Liaise with other administrative and research support staff on various related activities
  • Perform crossfunctional responsibilities and other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

  • Completion of Bachelor's Degree in a health
- or science-related discipline

  • Related experience working in a lab or clinical administrative program in an academic or healthcare setting
  • Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience using digital scientific repositories such as PubMed, Science Direct, and Google Scholar
  • Experience or knowledge of ResearchNet and CIHR Canadian Common CV (CCV) is an asset
  • Strong understanding of oncology practices and terminology is an asset
  • Meticulous work ethic and attention to detail, with excellent timemanagement and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage competing demands of short and longterm projects led by numerous individuals, directing multiple varied assignments, independently coordinating and prioritizing relevant projects, tasks and responsibilities
  • Highly motivated and adaptable with an ability to take initiative and work well independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Special talent for researching and analyzing data effectively and conducting literature searches
  • Ability to produce high quality work while meeting deadlines in accordance to UHN standards
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
