(KCB) is looking for a Program Manager to assist with a large, multimillion-dollar project, and to work on a variety of multifaceted projects.

This role will give you an opportunity to:

  • Report Program progress and KPIs (weekly and monthly) to the client;
  • Resolve program conflicts (priorities, timelines, etc.);
  • Keep the overall Program Director updated on KPIs, upcoming scopes, potential conflicts, potential budgeting challenges, and any items that relate to project delivery.
  • Liaise with the regional leads on items related to program tracking summary documents such as financial, schedule and staffing;
  • Liaise with various KCB teams to manage staffing needs and conflicts (through weekly meetings);
  • Liaise with the Project Leads to ensure they are updating the program tracking tools as required and meeting client requirements; and
  • Manage daytoday activities and assist with setting program priorities.

The Program Manager will attend:

- weekly staff planning meetings, potentially with multiple organizations;
- weekly project tracking meetings;
- weekly project meetings; and
- project milestone meetings as needed.

If you are a Project Management Professional (PMP), are registered as a Professional Engineer in Canada, have a Bachelor or Masters degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of related experience, we want to hear from you

  • Streamlining of routine work processes to improve delivery on defined schedule;
  • Building a structure that integrates work forecasts, budgeting and priorities for program activities;
  • Facilitation of more open discussions regarding details of future scopes and forecasting;
  • Guidance of team communications, forward planning, roles, and accountabilities; and
  • Consideration of all aspects when developing schedules including outside (e.g., subcontractors and specialists) and internal (e.g., staff availability, project internal milestones, and priorities) factors.
