About the Role

  • Migration of SharePoint 2013/2016 to SharePoint Online
  • Migrate the content into SharePoint Online sites with migration tools or manual procedures
  • Monitor SharePoint environment for any critical issues and problems, oversee activity pertaining to the maintenance of SharePoint.
  • Be responsible for servers in SharePoint farm, including setup and configuration of SharePoint Services on Servers, maintenance of Web Frontend Servers, Application Servers, Search/Indexing Servers, and some aspects of maintaining Database Servers
  • Be responsible for the creation and maintenance of Sites and Site Collections, as well as all associated databases.
  • Be responsible for backup and recovery practices and maintaining integrity and reliability of the access to information.
  • Be responsible for setup, configuration, and maintaining Excel Services, PowerPivot Service, Search Service, SQL Server Reporting Services, User Profile Service, etc.
  • Assist with quality assurance testing, bug identification and resolution, documentation preparation (technical, user guides, training), and other aspects of system development life cycle
  • Document IT processes, guides, and systems functionality
  • Working with the Help Desk team to overcome knowledge gaps and help the team advance knowledge, skills and process for supporting ongoing Microsoft needs of the organization.
  • Provide training sessions and demos of deliverables for SharePoint users, Content Managers and Site Owners
  • Required to be oncall, rotational between team members
Initiatives and projects

  • Analyze and evaluate projects completed by external resources for compliance with contractual requirements and
    LCBO standards
  • Liaise with users throughout the project lifecycle to ensure effective planning for changes to user environments and user participation in all phases of the project
  • Work closely with Team Leads and IT Managers for development timelines
  • Provide awareness and education to users and project team members on the effective use of new systems technology, as well as training to new team members
  • Provide project leadership and technical guidance as an SME to project team members by meeting regularly with the project team to review progress, problems, corrective action and alternatives, convey management and user view of projects, report on relevant decisions and any design requirements or changes
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
About You

  • University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics or related field or equivalent experience
  • Sound knowledge of project management methodologies and practices
  • 3+ years Experience in the migration of SharePoint 2013/2016 to SharePoint Online
  • 3+ years Experience supporting Office 365 and SharePoint Online product configuring, administrating, developing, and deploying solutions is an asset.
  • 3+ years Administer Enterprise MS Teams environment
  • Experience using migration tool such at Microsoft and ShareGate is an asset
  • Experience in configuring, maintaining, and supporting SharePoint Online (both content publishing and team sites)
  • Advanced technical knowledge and expertise in implementing.
NET solutions using C# utilizing client-side frameworks like React or Angular, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery

  • 3+ years Experience with SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, Azure, Office 365, and RESTful Web Services
  • Experience with store procedures, triggers and functions is an asset
  • Experience with Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET, InfoPath, SharePoint Designer
  • 3+ years Experience with Power Platform (automate, Apps, BI, etc.), Azure, Microsoft Dev tools, Power Pages
  • 3+ years PowerShell scripting skills desired
  • Analytical problemsolving skills, programming and data modelling skills are necessary.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, including excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact effectively will all levels of stakeholders
  • An enquiring mind with the ability to be adaptable and think outside the box to search for answers
  • Must be highly organized with great attention to detail and providing quality results
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines, and changing priorities
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to work in a team and individually when needed.
  • Experience working with largescale production environments requiring mínimal downtime.
  • Knowledge is SPFX is an asset
Target Salary Range (If Applicable): $57,808 - $98,482
