Position Overview:


Under the guidance of Human Resources and the Staffing Officer, the Staffing Clerk maintains scheduling and relief in collaboration with the Patient/Resident Care Manager and other Management.

Provides relief as required for the Staffing Officer, including sick and vacation relief.


Experience:


  • Experience with ESP computerized scheduling systems required; experience working with other computerized scheduling systems may be considered.
  • Demonstrated computer skills.
  • Experience in a similar or directly related position, preferably in a health care environment, preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Collective Agreements in relation to schedules, overtime and replacement staff.
  • Demonstrated customer service experience required.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate):


  • Successful completion of secondary education (Grade 12).
  • It is recommended that, at minimum, staff possess the Family & Friends category of CPR training.

  • Good command of the English language. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
