Jim Pattison Volkswagen Surrey has a new opportunity for a full-time Service Attendant to join our team


Job Summary:


Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be passionate about providing a welcoming and exceptional customer experience for our clients.

The Service Attendant is responsible for helping out in the Service Department. You will also be responsible for creating a welcoming environment, inside and out for our customers.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintaining a friendly demeanor while performing duties around the dealership
  • Ensuring the car wash bay is clean and all spills are cleaned up quickly.
  • Preparing and prioritizing vehicles that need to be washed in a logical and timely fashion.
  • Washing the exterior of vehicles including windows inside and outside, vacuuming vehicle interior and other interior cleanings as necessary.
  • Fueling loaner vehicles
  • Shuttling customers
  • Cleaning the upholstery, carpets and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaners, applicators and cleaning equipment.

Technical Skills:


  • Ability to work well in a team and on own initiative.
  • Ability to multitask and keep organized in a timely manner.
  • Detailoriented and accurate in all work and communication.
  • Must have a driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in operating both manual and standard transmissions is an asset.
