What will you be doing in this role?:
***Recruiting and Onboarding

  • Drive opportunities for outside sales through prospecting and lead generation
  • Provide training support to advisors and their teams on various tools and technology (WealthServ, Conquest, BSA, commissions, carrier websites, reporting, etc.)
  • Ensure successful and efficient onboarding of new advisors including orientation to FH processes, procedures, key contacts etc.
  • Own the coordination of the onboarding process with contracting
Relationship Management

  • Provide advisor triage support and troubleshooting to various departments
  • Provide consistent connections and touchpoints with Signature/Select advisors to maintain deep level of advisors priorities and business objectives to align with FH advisor value proposition
  • Provide advisor advocacy activities including basic inquiries to carrier partners
Sales Growth

  • Provide reactive support for Elite advisors, and proactive support in coordination with outside sales to develop and move Signature/Select advisors into Elite level
  • Proactively Identify advisors with growth potential and refer to outside sales Provide training on sales concepts and trends working in collaboration with outside sales for Signature/Select and growth advisors
  • Provide carrier product & illustration training, complete illustrations as required for Select and above advisors
  • Understand Signature/Select advisors' practice on an intimate level to identify opportunities for growth
  • Partner and pair advisors with FH value proposition and teams
  • Provide basic case consultation support
  • Identify succession opportunities and assist in transitioning business for Signature and Select advisors
  • Execute and deliver the region's strategic direction and sales plan
  • Participate in quarterly branch/territory (COS) sales reviews
Other

  • Local onsite event coordinator (branch specific)
  • Branch specific advisor communications for aligned Sales Director (i.e. contests)
  • Use Salesforce to track activities, maintain KYA for aligned advisors, create/maintain an advisor pipeline
  • Accountable for advisor debt management, escalate as required
  • Provide tier 1 support for advisors under supervision as required working in collaboration with compliance team

What qualifications are required?:


  • College Diploma, University degree, or equivalent experience
  • LLQP license required
  • Mutual Funds license is an asset
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin required
  • Cantonese an asset

What should your experience look like?:

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in the insurance and financial services industry
  • Elevated knowledge of key permanent insurance concepts using the mass affluent/HNW market
  • Maintain industry and product knowledge, keeping abreast of changes
  • Proven experience with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
