Sales Representative
Position
As a Sales Representative, you will be representing Exel and engaging with potential clients for their upcoming projects


Your role will involve:

  • Prospecting and

Lead Generation:
Actively seek out new leads and opportunities for landscape construction projects. This may involve cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging online resources.

  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints to provide tailored solutions.
  • Site Visits and Assessments: Conduct site visits to assess the scope of potential projects. Gather information on the terrain, existing landscape features, and client requirements to develop accurate project proposals.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare detailed and customized proposals for landscape construction projects. This involves estimating costs, outlining project timelines, and presenting creative design ideas that align with the client's vision.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with clients, ensuring all parties are in agreement on project scope, deliverables, pricing, and timelines.
  • Market Research and

Competitive Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics. Use this knowledge to identify opportunities for business growth and differentiation.

  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads, meetings, proposals, and contracts. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management to track performance and inform strategic decisions.
  • Networking and

Relationship Building:
Build a strong network within the industry, including architects, contractors, developers, and property managers. Leverage these connections to generate referrals and expand business opportunities.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge and experience in the construction industry, both residential and commercial, is advantageous for this position.
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently, with a proactive and selfmotivated approach.
  • Skilled in cold calling and conducting onsite visits to enhance sales and identify new opportunities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency for maintaining sales databases.
  • Hold a valid clean driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain government clearance.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction technical data, plans, and specifications.
  • Support corporate business development initiatives.
  • Attend job showings, report findings, and liaise with estimating personnel.

Salary:
From $60,000.00 per year
