Sales Representative
Position
As a Sales Representative, you will be representing Exel and engaging with potential clients for their upcoming projects

Your role will involve:

Prospecting and

Lead Generation:
Actively seek out new leads and opportunities for landscape construction projects. This may involve cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging online resources.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints to provide tailored solutions.
Site Visits and Assessments: Conduct site visits to assess the scope of potential projects. Gather information on the terrain, existing landscape features, and client requirements to develop accurate project proposals.
Proposal Development: Prepare detailed and customized proposals for landscape construction projects. This involves estimating costs, outlining project timelines, and presenting creative design ideas that align with the client's vision.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts with clients, ensuring all parties are in agreement on project scope, deliverables, pricing, and timelines.
Market Research and

Competitive Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics. Use this knowledge to identify opportunities for business growth and differentiation.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads, meetings, proposals, and contracts. Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management to track performance and inform strategic decisions.
Networking and

Relationship Building:
Build a strong network within the industry, including architects, contractors, developers, and property managers. Leverage these connections to generate referrals and expand business opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

Knowledge and experience in the construction industry, both residential and commercial, is advantageous for this position.
Demonstrated capability to work independently, with a proactive and selfmotivated approach.
Skilled in cold calling and conducting onsite visits to enhance sales and identify new opportunities.
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
Basic computer proficiency for maintaining sales databases.
Hold a valid clean driver's license.
Ability to obtain government clearance.
Proficiency in interpreting construction technical data, plans, and specifications.
Support corporate business development initiatives.
Attend job showings, report findings, and liaise with estimating personnel.
