    Description

    Purpose:
    The Senior Sales Associate at Scotia iTRADE plays a crucial role in the Sales & Partnerships team in Canada, ensuring individual goals align with the team's strategies and objectives while adhering to regulations and internal policies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Enhance customer relationships and leverage Bank resources
    • Consider the Bank's risk appetite in daily activities
    • Maintain operational efficiency and follow Scotiabank's Values and Code of Conduct
    • Foster a high-performance and inclusive work environment

    Building Strategic Relationships:

    • Collaborate with key Bank partners for client acquisition strategies
    • Implement outbound calling strategies to drive growth
    • Support sales initiatives and marketing strategies

    Customer Focus / Results Focus:

    • Specialize in onboarding clients and delivering tailored client experiences
    • Handle client inquiries and complaints efficiently
    • Acquire in-depth knowledge of products and services

    Communication:

    • Actively listen to clients and address their needs effectively
    • Stay informed about competitors and articulate the value of Scotia iTRADE

    Personal Development and Team Mindset:

    • Take ownership of personal development and contribute to team morale
    • Embrace change and new procedures

    Dimensions:

    • Achieve sales targets and complete daily dials
    • Educational requirements and industry experience
    • Skills in communication, negotiation, and Microsoft Office

    Working Conditions:

    • Office-based environment with occasional extended hours
    • Interact with clients primarily via phone and email

    Skill Requirements:

    • University degree or equivalent
    • Experience in Sales Contact Centre
    • Canadian Securities Course license preferred
    • 2 years of industry experience
    • Bilingualism in French and English an asset
    • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
    • Proactive and independent worker
