About Us:

Established in 1977, Edmundson Transport is an asset-based flatbed trucking company focused on providing excellent and reliable service. We are based out of Meadowvale, Mississauga and have clients across Ontario, Quebec, and the US.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual with a passion for sales to join our team.

They will be responsible for developing new business relations and maintaining existing customer relationships, while meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.

Key Functions and Responsibilities:

Market Expansion:_ Identify and target new business opportunities to expand our client base. Develop and implement strategic plans to reach potential customers and establish a strong market presence.

Client Relationship Management:_Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Sales Strategy:_ Devise and execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets. Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer demands to position our services competitively.

Collaboration:_ Work closely with the Operations team and Owners to ensure seamless execution of transportation services and exceed customer expectations.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in flatbed trucking/transportation.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Willingness to travel as needed.
