Job Title:
Custodial Aide

Job Status:

Permanent hours per week (2.25 hours per day), Monday to Friday, 10 months of the year (September to June), Tentative start time will be: 3:15 PM each day.

Preferred Qualifications:

A positive attitude and willingness to serve.
Previous cleaning experience would be an asset.
Able to perform all aspects of GVSD's cleaning procedures.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.
Able to lift 20 pounds.
Living in Blumenfeld or nearby would be preferred.
Satisfactory Criminal Record and Child Abuse Checks

Blumenfeld School is part of the Border Valley Unit and is located in the Village of Blumenfeld, just a 20-minute drive south of the City of Winkler. This Gr. 1-8 rural school of three classrooms serves the residents of the village and the immediate surrounding area. Blumenfeld School has approximately 60 students, with a teaching staff of four, and a support staff of three. It also shares a resource and administration team with Border Valley School. The size of the school allows for unique learning opportunities and fosters strong personal relationships between students, staff, and community members.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary & benefits package is in accordance with GVSD Policy

Salary range:

$ $18.08 per hour
