    Job title: IT Asset Management

    Description
    IT Asset Management is a critical function that involves managing and optimizing an organization's IT assets to ensure they are properly utilized, secured, and disposed of in accordance with company policies. The ideal candidate for this role will have a solid understanding of software asset management (SAM) principles, including the establishment of standards and processes for procuring, tracking, and disposing of software assets.

    The selected individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining CMDB taxonomy structures as well as designing KRIs to measure the effectiveness of SAM processes within the organization. Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with various teams such as procurement, vendor management, architecture CMDB governance & control teams. Certification such as ITIL 4 ISO 19770 IAITAM CSAM/CITAM ServiceNow SAM/CMDB is desired but not mandatory.

    Key responsibilities include establishing authoritative definitions of software assets embedding them into refreshed ITAM standard software KRI documentation defining publishing governing CMDB taxonomy ensuring exclusion business applications from Software KRIs determining scope Software Inventory Presence maintain documented lists eligibility criteria document manage process identifying approved software assets develop automate three key Software KRIs: Inventory Completeness Attribute Completeness Ownership close CAP deliverables collaborate drive governance reporting initiatives
