Description

Louis W Bray Construction is currently hiring experienced Water and Sewer Foremen to join our team and contribute to the completion of complex Water and sewer infrastructure projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Orient, train, assign, schedule, and coach employees and supervise sub-contractors to accomplish work requirements.
Delegate tasks to team members, hold them accountable, and conduct daily meetings outlining daily scope of work and associated hazards.
Determine equipment and material needs on-site and coordinate their delivery with the project coordinator and site superintendent.
Maintain construction work standards by following production, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving operational problems, and identifying work process improvements.
Assist the Superintendent in creating short-term schedules and monitor such schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
Plan construction projects by studying technical specifications and drawings; ordering and scheduling materials and equipment.
Inspect work in progress to ensure that work conforms to specifications and meets organizational goals.
Represent the company in meetings with clients, contractors, inspectors, etc., as required.
Participate in daily and weekly update meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns or issues.
Evaluate worker's abilities, maintain a safe working environment, and establish professional relationships with team members and external stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum three years of experience as a Sewer and Water supervisor in heavy civil construction, with proven leadership and coordination skills.
Ability to work unsupervised, lead work crews, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, and owners to ensure timely completion of projects.
