Wanuskewin is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Resource Management Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing invasive species, conducting environmental monitoring programs, collecting field data, and guiding the work of other staff members.

About the Role

This hands-on role offers an opportunity to support long-term stewardship of culturally and ecologically significant land while respecting Indigenous knowledge and heritage. The position involves physically demanding tasks such as manual control of invasive species, surveying, monitoring, controlling and removing undesirable species (manual mechanical biological chemical or controlled burns)

• Oversight involvement in long-term environmental monitoring programs for the property including upland aquatic habitats health assessments plant soil surveys
• Collecting accurate reliable field data updating Wanuskewin's Resource Management geodatabase identifying inventorying plant species within the Park current future state desired undesired varieties alike
