POSITION LOCATION / WORK ARRANGEMENT:

Duties:


What you will be doing (RE-05 Business Analyst):

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders to ensure cooperative and agile approach to data governance;
  • Provide support to internal clients and external partners, by assessing data, use cases and/or policy requirements;
  • Provide project management leadership on new initiatives;
  • Provide support for the implementation of the Data Strategy through creating and maintaining policies, standards, processes, and procedures;
  • Provide daytoday direction/assistance to users in understanding data governance and data management best practices;
  • Keep uptodate with data governance best practices that will support effective data analysis and increased data use at OSFI;
  • Build and maintain effective communications with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Provide business analysis expertise to data governance operations, including identifying opportunities for process improvement (e.g. streamline review and approval processes), process documentation, process mapping, procedure documentation, clarification and documentation of roles and responsibilities.
What you will be doing (RE-04 Regulatory Information Officer):

  • In collaboration with the BA, provide support to internal clients by analyzing their needs and providing data and project management expertise;
  • Provide business process expertise, including identifying opportunities for process improvement (e.g. streamline complex processes, automate manual processes, clarify complex processes), process documentation, process mapping, procedure documentation, clarification and documentation of roles and responsibilities;
  • Support the development and documentation of technology solutions to data experimentation and data management problems;
  • Provide support for the planning, drafting, communication, and implementation of policies, standards, processes, and procedures derived from OSFI's Data Strategy;
  • Keep uptodate with data governance best practices that will support effective data analysis and increased data use at OSFI;
  • Build and maintain effective communications with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Assist in the development and submission of key performance indicators;
  • Provide status updates, presentations, recommendations and respond to enquiries from management;
