As a
Maintenance Lead for the Millcroft Inn & Spa you will perform the day-to-day general maintenance of public, guest and operational areas in a manner consistent with a high-class tourism destination.

What you'll be doing:

Responsible for maintenance of facilities and equipment in both safe, good working order and with a high quality appearance where required.
Perform project management functions with respect to subcontractors during renovations.
Coordinate Team Member to assist contractors or in performing general maintenance on the property
Order supply and/or equipment
Responsible for ensuring proper safety programs with respect to fire equipment and regulations, training of maintenance Team Members and attendance at the Health & Safety meetings.
Liaison with government inspectors for buildings, grounds, Team Members and the fire department as required.
Supervise, direct and motivate Team Members.
All other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring to the team:

Minimum three (3) years experience in all phases of building maintenance is required as well as electrical, plumbing and carpentry.
Experience with painting, wallpapering, and large snow removal equipment an asset.
Possesses maintenance troubleshooting ability.
General mechanical and technical knowledge.
