Position Purpose

:

Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company's success.

They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards.

This is a 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. shift, Monday to Friday.

Position Responsibilities**:

Providing daily cleaning of the 150,000 sq ft facility through sweeping, dusting, mopping vacuuming, and removal of trash.
Use of riding sweeper and scrubber.
Spill containment and cleaning as required.
Cleaning bathrooms regularly; maintain supply of soap, toilet paper and towels.
Performing specialized cleaning duties as required by AIB.
Daily recordkeeping of tasks performed as detailed on 'Master Cleaning Schedule'.
Reading and comprehending Martial Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for approved cleaning products.
Reporting to supervisor any security or safety concerns observed in the workplace.
Cleaning in a cooler (36°F) and / or freezer (10°F) environment.
Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.

Skills & Experiences

:

Relevant experiences in similar positions.
Work in high pace environment.
Ability to work independently and complete appointed tasks.
Food Safety experience would be an benefit.
Proven ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely and careful manner.
Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow all established procedures and regulations.
Flexibility to work extended hours as needed is preferred.
Experience using a Walkie and forklift is an asset.

Physical Demands &Working Conditions

:

Physical ability to regularly lift, carry, and position: up to 10 lbs. regularly, up to 25 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
Physical ability to handle objects, tools, and/or controls.
Physical ability to stand for a significant period of time and walk continuously.
Physical ability to occasionally bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, or crawl.
May require the ability to operate and/or be certified on various powered equipment.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment which will expose the incumbent to a variety of noise and potential extremes in temperature.
