    As an experienced Senior Estimator in the Civil & Infrastructure team at Pomerleau Construction, you will support new and ongoing project growth and challenge industry standards with your trade-driven expertise and knowledge.

    Working on large-scale infrastructure projects - ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion - you will work closely with our proposals team and various client groups to secure bids and ensure project success.

    Prepare the summary of quantities according to the plans and specs and by sorting them according to the standardized sections and functions of the trades involved.

    Identify project-specific prices related to key items including labor, equipment and materials.
    Grow and maintain strong relationships with trade partners, consultants and clients to achieve project goals and vision.

    Thoroughly review all received amounts from suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring their alignment with bid documents during compilation and bid closings.

    Take part in and/or coordinate the various parties involved in the estimation of a design-build project.
    Support in the search for new contacts subcontractors, suppliers, and work providers.
    Suggest and quantify alternatives to bid documents to reduce construction costs of bid projects.

    Act as a role model and mentor for your junior team members, providing coaching and guidance on best practices and trade secrets.

    A University Degree or College Diploma in Construction project estimation or a combination of education and industry experience.
    Previous experience leading and mentoring junior team members.
    Strong experience working with estimation software.
