Current Shifts:
Days, evenings, weekends, 4-8 hours shifts
Position Summary:
The Dietary Aide works as part of the food services team to provide safe and nutritious food and beverages to hospital patients.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe food handling practices with current valid Food Handler Certification or willingness to undertake and complete the course with proof of registration within 30 days
- Recent food service experience in a health care setting
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of various therapeutic diets
- Recent Nutrition Centre experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team in a fastpaced and everchanging environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability handle and prioritize multiple tasks within tight time frames
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and push heavy carts
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service when interacting with patients, families, colleagues and physicians
