Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor security staff at the post.
• Perform routine security checks on employees, vehicles, equipment.
• Ensure that access to buildings and grounds is restricted to the extent required by the business in relation to business operations and security.
• Provide assistance to the owner and or operator of the business in the event of an emergency.
• Conduct regular patrols of premises to maintain a secure environment for staff and visitors.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and report any unusual incidents or occurrences to management.
• Report any suspicious activity or persons to management.
• Take appropriate action in the event of a breach in security or unauthorized access to property.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 12 years of experience as a security guard preferred.
• Valid Mississauga, ON driver's license with clean driving record preferred.
