    Role Summary


    As part of the Payroll Support Team, the Payroll Administrator will be responsible supporting the accurate and timely administration of payroll.

    Key Responsibilities


    Payroll Responsibilities

    • Collect, verify, and process payroll information in preparation for weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly payroll runs for assigned divisions

    • Determine pay and benefit entitlements for employees as part of data reconciliations

    • Complete, verify and process employee forms and documentation for administration of taxes and benefits such as employment verifications, FMLA verifications, Record of Employment requests

    • Collection of Garnishment Notices and other payroll related mail for distributing to Payroll Delivery Team

    • First point of contact for employee pay related inquiries such as updating tax withholding forms, address and name changes, pay calculation verifications

    • First point of contact for time & attendance inquiries such as rate and role assignments

    • Assign, action, resolve Payroll Tickets within Shared Service SLAs

    General Responsibilities

    • Support questions received in a manner that ensures employee satisfaction

    • Participate in systems implementations related to payroll by defining requirements, participate in preparing test plans, and documenting test results

    • Prepare and Maintain checklists for the payroll processing and business processes

    • Excellent problem-solving skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy

    • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines

    Key Qualifications/Requirements



    • University degree or College diploma in a related field or relevant experience

    • Knowledge or experience with US and Canadian payroll

    • Prior payroll processing experience at Divisional level

    • Proficiency with Ceridian Dayforce

    • Strong planning and organizational skills with proven ability to manage competing priorities, maintain sensitive and highly confidential information

    • Very detailed oriented with a superior track record of achieving high quality results

    • Advanced Excel skills for reporting, metrics, and data validation

    • Ability to foster effective working relationships at all levels internally and with external partners
