Responsibilities:
- Development of preventive maintenance activities defined in the Annual Preventive Maintenance Plan (APMP)
- Carry out maintenance activities curative requested by other departments, ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and facilities
- Make the correct changes of format cutting, filtering and screening machines for the preparation of fruits
- Carry out periodic lubrication defined in the Annual Preventive Maintenance Plan
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of equipment and facilities after any intervention;
- Monitoring of all activities from outside companies for requested services;
- Fulfill the Job Cards of each preventive or curative maintenance intervention;
- Completion of records changes made to the preparation of fruit machines;
- Report to the superiors any anomaly detected in equipment and facilities;
- General housekeeping and cleaning maintenance workshop and working tools
- Record daily consumption of water, gas and energy;
- Responsible for managing the waste generated in the activities associated with maintenance;
- All other duties as assigned
Education:
Relevant work experience in the field. Completion of post-secondary diploma an asset.
Requirements:
- 12 general maintenance experience with mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of GMPs preferred
- Strong attention to detail, problem solver, in a fastpaced environment
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.; be able to stand, bend, lift, twist, and turn, for extended periods of time in a humid environment
- Work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Must be safety and quality conscious
- Must be available for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
