The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in the implementation of new benefit plans for our clients, ensuring new business is processed in a timely manner so applicants receive coverage as soon as possible.

This role is critical because, for many of our clients and their employees, this will be their first experience with Johnston Group and Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan.

Our goal is to exceed their expectations with our industry-leading customer service.

As well, you will process benefit changes for our existing clients.

This includes adding, deleting, and changing benefit options as well as changing group demographics such as firm size and adjustments to non-evidence and overall maximums.

A high level of accuracy and a customer-first attitude is mandatory as you work with a team that provides the highest level of customer satisfaction in the industry.


Qualifications:


  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Exceptional customer service skills and strong active listening skills
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality
  • Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities
  • Proficient using MS Office
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Previous experience with group benefit plan administration and claims is considered an asset
