Maplesoft Group is currently seeking an Intermediate Procurement Specialist for our Federal Government client.

The following responsibilities are associated with the "Statement of Work" but are not

limited to:
Primary Responsibilities

Procurement Specialist, Intermediate tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:

Plans and schedules for capital equipment procurement projects for the organization, prioritizing purchases, optimizing budgets and schedule.
Develop and evaluate procurement strategies for both capital equipment and other strategic requirements as well as support plans (for maintenance) and reporting on budgets.
Develop endtoend (procurement to disposal) process mapping for capital equipment and other strategic requirements.
Contribute to procurement policy and process reviews and the development and implementation of standard operating procedures.
Develop and write procurement support documents including business cases, briefing notes, synopsis sheets, costing models, statements of work, statements of requirements, evaluation criteria, and procurement related forms; collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and obtain relevant inputs and feedback; and coordinate signoff by appropriate authorities within QETE.
Keep QETE technical staff upto date on procurement timelines.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures for capital equipment.
Submit monthly progress reports on major activities
