Key Commodities Ltd. is a cropping operation located in Strathoy Ontario. We are a sister company to Kuijpers Key Farm Ltd. which is our hog farrow to finish operation. We are a family owned business and are very driven and passionate about our industry. Key Commodities grows all crops needed for the hog operation. We grow corn, soybeans and wheat which is used to make feed for our swine operation. We handle all aspects of drying, storing and milling of the grain.

Job description
Key Commodities Ltd.

is looking for a highly motivated person who can help out with a wide variety of tasks on the farm.

Duties would include:
Service and maintain multiple types of equipment, implements, and systems.

Operate farm equipment from spring to fall.
Wash equipment, keep equipment clean and oiled.
Help with construction projects during summer and help with swine barn maintenance in the winter.
Monitor feed mill and grain dryer, run grain elevator in fall.
Assist with tile drainage repairs.
General labour around the farm.

We offer competitive pay highly dependent on your background and experience. Benefits include health insurance, pension plan, life insurance and holiday pay. This position does have peak hours during planting and harvest which include long hours and weekends. Hours flexible during non peak seasons.

Salary:
$18.00-$21.00 per hour
