Description
As Property Maintenance Manager, you will oversee physical care and maintenance across our residential rental portfolio.

As a key leader on our team, you will be responsible for the continued success of the portfolio, supervising a maintenance team, capital planning, overseeing vendors and contractors, and helping to improve overall portfolio operations to fulfil our promise of a better home.

You are a strong leader, both in your technical knowledge, and your ability to lead and motivate a team.

You are passionate about quality work, and making sure every detail is executed on time, on budget, and in line with our values.

This role is an excellent opportunity to grow your career alongside a growing portfolio of newly purpose-built residential rentals. This role is located in our Vancouver office and requires frequent travel to our properties around the Lower Mainland.

Who You Are

You have 5+ years of experience in property management, building operations or facility maintenance along with 3+ years' experience leading people and a track record of bringing out the best in others.

You have a vehicle and are able to drive to locations around the Lower Mainland (car allowance provided). You know this business operates 24/7 and are comfortable working outside core hours to respond to emergencies as appropriate.
You have excellent English communication skills and easily build rapport with others.

You know your numbers, and have a demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and act on risks and opportunities.

You have a continuous improvement mindset and are eager to learn and grow. You have strong hands-on maintenance skills and experience troubleshooting repairs and proactively managing maintenance schedules.

You take ownership of your work, are organized, a good planner, and have a demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and common issues using sound judgement.

You get stuff done and are firm but fair.
