Paper Lantern, the award winning cocktail bar in Chinatown, is looking for a strong and reliable member to add to our team.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a high volume bar

General understanding of spirits and cocktails. Extensive knowledge an asset

Ability to maintain composure in a fast paced environment

Demonstrate good judgement and problem solving skills

Ability to work as part of a team


Responsibilities:

Actively take orders and provide personal recommendations to guests in an professional but friendly manner

Possess thorough knowledge of food and drink menu

Manage reservations, waitlist, and walk-ins in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining table service.

Ability to anticipate guests needs and proactively work to fulfill them

Successful completion of opening, closing, and side duties

Paper Lantern prides itself on providing superior service while maintaining a fun and casual environment. Service is shared, so ability to work in a team environment is critical.
