Our client is a well-known, multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm that works with mining companies around the world. They're looking for an experienced project manager to join their Toronto HQ and oversee projects from start to finish. If you have a strong background in mining EPCM projects, enjoy leading teams, and excel at managing multiple stakeholders, this could be a great fit.
What You'll Do:
- Manage all aspects of project execution, including engineering, procurement, planning, cost control, estimating, budgeting, and permitting.
- Work closely with teams across different departments to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Monitor progress, identify potential roadblocks early, and take action to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Create detailed execution plans so everyone knows what needs to happen and when.
- Travel to mine sites to meet with stakeholders, address concerns, and ensure alignment between the team and clients.
What You'll Bring:
- P.Eng + Mech Eng degree
- Willingness to live and work in Toronto.
- A passion for project management and delivering high-quality results.
- Proven experience managing mining and EPCM projects through all phases—from studies to execution and construction.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- The ability to set goals, measure progress, and adjust plans as needed.
- A knack for motivating teams, fostering collaboration, and keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.
