The Loader Operators key responsibilities include loading and unloading piles and materials, maintaining clear documentation, mentoring junior positions, and promoting safetyThis is a 3 month contract.
Role Purpose:
The Loader Operator at Almita Piling is crucial for screw pile installations. Working closely with the Install Operator and Field Supervisor, this role ensures safe and efficient operations on site. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading piles and materials, maintaining clear documentation, mentoring junior positions, and promoting safety protocols.
Key Duties:
Follows instructions from Install Operator and Field Supervisor.
Mentors junior positions.
Demonstrates safe machine operations and understands machine limits.
Reads layout drawings and adjusts placements accordingly.
Safely loads/unloads piles from transport trucks.
Maintains equipment knowledge and performs maintenance tasks.
Upholds safety standards and contributes to site cleanliness.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned.
Qualifications
Clean class 5 driver's license
Experience operating equipment
Field safety tickets including First Aid, H2S, CSTS, Fall Protection, and Ground Disturbance are an asses
This is a safety sensitive position and will require candidates to comply with Almita's drug and alcohol program.
Exposure to loud noises and extreme temperatures
Usually outdoors, including travel to remote locations
Physical elements include bending, twisting, crouching, kneeling, standing for long periods of time, lifting weights up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 50 pounds occasionally with assistance
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times
