The Provincial Engagement Assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting the collaborative efforts of five prominent construction associations in Saskatchewan: Saskatchewan Construction Association (SKCA), Saskatoon Construction Association (SCA), Regina Construction Association (RCA), Prince Albert Construction Association (PACA), and Moose Jaw Association (MJCA).

Our integrated network is dedicated to promoting excellence and fostering community within the construction industry across the province.


The Provincial Engagement Assistant will collaborate closely with the Director of Engagement and the Manager of Events to ensure the effective execution of events, marketing endeavors, educational programs, and member engagement strategies across the construction association network.

This position, based out of the Regina Construction Association office, will function as the central point of coordination for collaborative efforts focused on strengthening industry connections and fostering member development.

Job Duties & Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning events for all 5 associations, such as Galas, Golf Tournaments, Curling Bonspiels, and Tradeshows.
  • Manage and administer event and education registrations, invoicing and payments.
  • Update website content related to events and education.
  • Format and design documents.
  • Provide support for meetings, including scheduling and preparation.
  • Offer overall support to other team members.
  • Handle daytoday office support and organization.
  • Assist with Event planning and execution including marketing and coordination.
  • Assist with member engagement strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Additional education in areas such as communications, marketing, business administration, or event management would be beneficial.
  • Experience working in an office environment.
  • Any experience or skills related to website management, social media management, or graphic design could be valuable in supporting the various tasks associated with the role.

  • Experience in the construction industry would be an asset.

Working Conditions

  • This position works five days per week but will require some evenings and weekends to accommodate event schedules.
  • Sitting for long periods of time and long hours at a computer are typical for this role.


This position could be expected to travel to work at local offices and to support local association work on a regular basis as necessary, including overnight stays as required.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Pay:
$20.50-$23.00 per hour
